@longlive: according to JW the Bible and its message was addressed exclusively to the 144,000 ‘faithful and discreet slave’ which according to modern interpretation is exclusively members of the governing body. The ‘rest of us’ are just lucky we can obtain salvation through them. This is not hyperbole, this has been addressed through series of articles on the topic.

by LongHairGal ini just read this.
don’t know if anybody here has seen the video.. the intended result of this is to obviously scare ‘faders’ out of the shadows.

There are two competing things going on in SA: farm yields are dropping significantly since the 90s because of the government racist land transfer policy.
Note that on one hand this is decried in the news media as a sign of ‘white privilege’, when land is transferred to unprepared black farmers and the massive government subsidies not being enough to sustain some 20-year old with a business college degree, a dream of but no experience in farming, simultaneously holding in other articles that race based land confiscation doesn’t actually happen.
However SA was a huge exporter across Africa both because similar policies in other countries killed their farms with communist/socialist policy generally ending in dictatorships and war. Now that supply is under pressure, prices skyrocket. So yes, they make more money off less food. That will be the case until they cannot sustain themselves anymore, which is fast approaching, with some areas already seeing food shortages.
On the other hand, the UN and even the US has pumped billions of dollars over the years to maintain the lie that the SA land transfer program has been a success, so the west (look up Gates and Soros foundations investments into ‘One Africa’) is investing in quick return products just to drive the SA government into more investment, which brings short term yields (anyone with a million dollar grant can get 1-2 years of intensive non-food crops like seed oils before the land becomes depleted) but long term damages.

Antimatter eh, aka nuclear bombs, for every raindrop you would have the equivalent destructive force of a Nagasaki sized bomb.
The problem is that it really "can't" rain antimatter, because it would explode high in the atmosphere as soon as it touched 'matter' such as air and water molecules. A single cloud (500T) of antimatter would likely destroy the earth. Here is what a quick calculation in ChatGPT says:
🔥 Atmosphere:
-
Instantly superheated—converted into plasma
-
Stripped partially into space from blast waves and atmospheric blowout
🧱 Crust:
-
Surface crust would be vaporized or melted globally
-
Massive seismic and volcanic activity
-
Continental plates could fracture; oceans would boil instantly
💀 Biosphere:
-
Zero chance of survival
-
Even extremophiles (deep underground organisms) likely perish
-
No human, animal, or plant life remains
🪨 Earth’s Structure:
-
Earth would survive physically (gravity holds it together)
-
But surface reduced to a molten slag ball, atmosphere mostly gone, magnetic field disrupted

Remember Hour Quotas?
by blondie inhour quotas timeline.
back in the old days long before 1952.
“after staying in our ‘home’ for two days we decided that if we were going to meet our quota of 140 hours for the month.

The quota of 10 hours was still used a few decades ago, I clearly remember it being a requirement for being considered "active" to do at least 10 hours, 2 hours for the 'sick and elderly', a servant/elder was supposed to meet at least the congregation average, even more if you wanted to be a 'assistant' pioneer or pioneer before you were ever accepted you already had to do the hours. It was brutal for some.

Attack near St Catherine's Monastery
by Earnest infollowing on from the bombings of coptic churches in egypt, there was an attack earlier this month on a checkpoint near st catherine's monastery.
this monastery dates back to the time of justinian and has a number of early bible mss including part of codex sinaiticus of the fourth century.. i am surprised this hasn't happened before because isis is active in northern sinai and it would be a major event were they to gain access and wreak havoc at st catherine's monastery.
although the isolation of the monastery has contributed to its survival over 1400 years, it is in the forefront of digitising its manuscript collection.

The fact is that if either party really wanted, they could wipe the other leader out. A near-miss is often calculated to either scare the other or drum up support through propaganda.
At this point, even citizens have sufficient potential access to OSINT to pinpoint most leaders of most countries to a scary degree of accuracy between news and cell phone signals and a drone capable of carrying a kg of explosives isn’t expensive either, any actor with $100k-1M worth of resources (and people) could probably accurately assassinate Putin, Zelensky, Khomeini and most lower level politicians.

@Balaamsass: an early assassination of Hitler would have resulted in Goebbels or a more military capable general coming to power. Given the pact between Stalin and Hitler, assume a slightly more military mind decided against crossing the Soviets and focus on the Western front. Forget about Normandy, the only reason that succeeded is because all resources were East. Look at earlier attempts by the Allies to land in Italy.
With such comments you clearly do not understand history, Hitler was elected, people wanted change, people wanted to try this newfangled nationalist socialism, the run up to Hitler was WW1 and globalist socialists attempting to secure peace by loading Germany with debt, reparations and paper promises for hundreds of years of “oppression” in Europe (which the enforcers like France and England were equally guilty of). Sounds familiar?
Without Hitler, you would have still gotten German domination in some way because Germany has always had the resources and their neighbors were weak, you would’ve likely ended up with an overtly anti-Semitic EU-like entity ran by the Germans in 1930 rather than the subtly anti-Semitic EU run by the Germans in 1999.

Europe firing nukes? LOL. They would rather have Ukraine, Poland and Hungary run over than stop getting Russian oil. Europe would freeze to death without Russia, even if you somehow got all of Southern Europe to go along with a war in “the North” they are still outmanned by the Russians, and the majority of reservist personnel in Europe hasn’t ever touched a gun, even the “active” military only trains at best with sidearms or single action rifles because “big guns are scary”. Luckily for Europe, Germany, Finland and the Swiss are ‘properly’ trained although Germany has been limited in capacity after WW2, in the end it would probably be 100k Americans and 100k Europeans vs 2-5M Russians and Chinese IF it ever came to an all out shooting war rather than a proxy war over a (very) small area of Ukraine.

"I have been trying for a fortnight to draw your headquarters and to get them to send a balance sheet or solicitor. They prefer to shelter they prefer to lurk behind the privacy of Craven Terrace, London. lt is another dodge for making money, most of which goes to America."

Dinosaur Soft Tissue
by Sea Breeze inback when the dinosaur soft tissue story was broken in 2005, i predicted that that many more soft tissues would be found and that it wouldn't matter if it was supposedly "65 million" years old or "165 million" years old.
the prediction has proven true and dinosaur soft tissue is routinely now found regardless of supposed age.
this is easy to predict using a literal reading of genesis and accepting it as history.... .

I find some of this very amusing. A genetic word doesn’t exist, all genes are expressed with 4 bases, but they don’t form words, as they only allow up to 24 possible combinations.
Putting them together isn’t that complex, some bacteria require just 180-ish protein coding genes with 160,000 base pairs and that’s a very complex life form already. In the lab as low as 60 protein coding genes can be useful for synthetic life forms and then we haven’t talked yet about the things such as viruses that aren’t life forms but still replicate.
